Zyris, Inc., the industry leader in dental isolation technology, today announced the new Isolite 3 dental isolation system.

The new Isolite 3 allows dentists to quickly and easily implement a standard protocol for consistent outcomes in procedures that benefit from and require moisture control and isolation.

Building upon the popularity of the earlier versions, the new Isolite 3 introduces the first ever amber light integrated into a dental isolation system. The cure-safe lighting option prevents the polymerization of light cure resin-based composites, while still providing illumination inside the mouth.

"Our company was born out of the frustration of one dentist, and we are delighted to introduce the next generation of our flagship product," said Sandi Hirsch, CEO and Co-Founder of Zyris. "The Isolite 3 incorporates feedback from hundreds of enthusiastic clinicians with the innovative talent of our design team. We are thrilled to help drive stronger oral health through a better patient experience!"

Whether choosing to use the traditional white light or the new cure-safe amber lights, clinicians have a choice of three intensity levels to provide them with the ideal intra-oral illumination they require.

The new Isolite 3 hose design integrates the control head with the evacuation line into a robust and non-detachable unit that is easy to clean and disinfect. The device was designed to improve office staff efficiency by including a cleaning tip attachment for direct-to-canister or chair cleaning systems. The new Isolite 3 incorporates Liquidmetal® into the product design making the Isolite 3 lighter, yet stronger than previous versions.

Also new in the Isolite 3 is the integration of light management technology that utilizes multiple sensors to dynamically manage thermal loads and light output to prevent overheating.

For operatories with limited HVE ports, the new Isolite 3 design includes a new intelligent Power Vacuum Base that serves as an adjustable Y-Adapter. The Power Vacuum Base can be set to provide suction for the Isolite 3, the Isolite 3 and an accessory, an accessory only or completely turned off when cleaning and sterilization are being performed. Optionally, the Power Vacuum Base can be connected directly to the power supply available in modern dental chairs.

Like the Isolite 2 before it, the Isolite 3 continues to work with the award-winning mouthpieces that integrate a dual-channel suction, protection for the cheek, tongue and airway and an integrated bite-block for patient safety and comfort.

Demonstrations of the Isolite 3 will be held at the Zyris, Inc. booth #35 at the 2018 Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting at the Georgia World Congress Center, March 22 - 24 in Atlanta, GA.
