Virginia Apartment Management Association Honors DF Multifamily with 6 Awards of Distinction
NEWPORT NEWS, VA (PRWEB) March 22, 2018 -- The Hampton Roads Apartment Council, a division of the Virginia Apartment Management Association (VAMA), acknowledged DF Multifamily with six Apartment Community Excellence (ACE) awards. DF Multifamily is a division of Drucker + Falk and is one of the most trusted and largest multifamily property managers in Hampton Roads with over eight decades of service to the region. Four DF Multifamily communities were recognized: Old Donation Apartments, Virginia Beach, Venture Apartments in Tech Center, Newport News, Trail Creek Apartments, Hampton, and Liberty Apartments, Newport News, VA. The awards were for:
Best Community Team of the Year for 275 to 399 units
Best Model Apartments built before 2013
Community Involvement Award
Community Team Video Contest
In addition to the community awards, two DF Multifamily team members were recognized for individual accomplishments:
Melissa Nichols, Service Manager, Ridgewood Club Apartments, Virginia Beach
Honorable Mention for Maintenance Supervisor of the Year apartments with 250 units or less
Debby Eure, Property Manager, Colonial Pines, Williamsburg
Onsite Team Player of the Year
The ceremony was held on Friday, March 16th at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott. DF Multifamily was one of the top two award winners for the Hampton Roads area where there are over 100,000 apartment units in the region. “We are proud to be recognized for these distinguished awards as they are a reflection of the quality of our people and their commitment to excellence with the communities we manage“ said Jim Ledbetter, President of Drucker + Falk.
The ACE Awards recognizes excellence in the field of property management each year and are judged by an independent team of out-of-town property management experts who tour Hampton Roads area communities and interview associated team members. “Hampton Roads is where Drucker + Falk has its roots and demonstrating our continued leadership in the region is of utmost importance to our people and our company” added Ledbetter.
