DATAMARK’s Mumbai Site Launches Voice Processing Operation
EL PASO, Texas (PRWEB) March 23, 2018 -- DATAMARK has expanded the operations of its Mumbai site by opening the newest voice processing operation within the company. The Mumbai site opened its doors on July 2016 with the main objective of creating redundancy for its Chennai, India site when DATAMARK saw a need to provide more efficient service to its customers. While service needs at the Mumbai site vary from document processing to finance and accounting services, the need for voice processes also increased among DATAMARK’s clients, leading to the decision to expand the offerings in Mumbai.
The balance provided by the two India sites allows DATAMARK to better react to any unforeseen contingency and having a voice process was crucial to that contingency plan. The voice processing at the Mumbai site will begin with 50 interpreters. These interpreters will initially work translating between English and Indian languages, including Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, and Punjabi, for customer service purposes. Raul Avila, Director of Far Shore Operations at DATAMARK, is optimistic about the growth of the site, stating that the Mumbai voice process site will, “continue growing with other languages” and will become available in the future.
With the addition of the voice process center, DATAMARK’s Mumbai site will house over 750 employees. This voice processing outfit aims to increase the customer service it provides for its clients by allowing customer service to extend past the limits of language and time zone barriers. This location is one of nine active sites continuing to expand and further DATAMARK’s mission to bring jobs to the communities in which they operate, while solving business problems for long-term partners.
