It is a tool, intended to spark and inspire others’ inner journey towards alignment with their higher selves.

In this “selfie” generation, conditioned to expect instant gratification and constant reassurance, based on “likes” of a filtered photo or the number of people in one’s social media network, one doctor encourages people to, instead, look inward.

In “The Greater You: The Journey of Awakening,” Dr. Russell Clayton provides a guidebook for reaching one’s full potential and delivering one’s signature gift to the world. In it, Dr. Clayton delivers 19 steps to living a life of empowerment, elevated perspective and personal achievement.

“This book is based on a spiritual journey, which took me from a life based on personhood, to my current, heart-based identity,” Dr. Clayton said. “It is a tool, intended to spark and inspire others’ inner journey towards alignment with their higher selves.”

Dr. Clayton is a physician, surgeon and spiritual teacher. When he lost his father in 1999, he was inspired to leave a legacy for his children.

“I vowed to create a book of life for my children,” Dr. Clayton said, “to assist them in their life journey. ‘The Greater You’ is that book.”
