Bringing More Than 15 Years of Experience to New Role, Angela Zerda Paules Oversees Marketing Efforts Across Three Growing Home Maintenance Brands

Buzz Franchise Brands, parent company of Mosquito Joe, Pool Scouts and Home Clean Heroes, is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Vice President of Marketing Angela Zerda Paules to Chief Marketing Officer. In her new role, Paules will help grow Buzz Franchise Brand’s marketing department by adding key hires to the team, overseeing marketing operations across all brands and leading the marketing strategy and vision to drive franchise and sales growth.

Paules started her career with Buzz Franchise Brands in 2012, joining as the Director of Marketing for Mosquito Joe when there were just five employees on staff. Now, with 50 corporate employees and more than 240 franchised territories across two brands, she is excited to continue growing her career while making Mosquito Joe, Home Clean Heroes and Pool Scouts household names in home maintenance.

“I’m extremely excited about the challenges ahead of me in this role and look forward to ensuring our marketing remains a top-notch aspect of our business,” said Paules. “My experience has been really diversified over the past five years with Buzz Franchise Brands; from the rebranding and franchising of Mosquito Joe, to the launch of the Pool Scouts and Home Clean Heroes brands, to the development of our marketing department. I think the variety in my work, and the evolution from running a one-person marketing department focused on one brand to a 20-person marketing department supporting three brands, has prepared me well for the position.”

Paules is a University of Texas at Austin graduate, earning her B.S. in communications and business. After graduating, she joined advertising agency GSD&M, part of the Omnicom Group, working in media planning. She later returned to her alma mater as a Marketing Manager for the McCombs School of Business, working on the marketing initiatives for the Texas MBA program portfolio. In 2006, she exercised her entrepreneurial spirit by opening the Irie Bean Coffee Bar in Austin.
