International Association of Women Inducts Alina Bormotova, CEO/Owner of Ballerinaboxx, into its VIP Influencer of the Year Circle

Alina Bormotova is selected for her outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession

My inspiration is all-powerful businesswomen who are successful in their careers and personal lives.

The International Association of Women (IAW) honors Alina Bormotova as a 2018-2019 inductee into its VIP Influencer of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in entrepreneurship. The International Association of Women (IAW) is a global in-person and online networking platform with nearly one million members, 1000+ in person and virtual events, over 100 Local US based Chapters and International Chapters in several cities in China.

“I’m pleased to welcome Alina into this exceptional group of professional women,” said IPDN President and IAW Spokesperson Star Jones. “Her knowledge and experience in her industry are valuable assets to her company and community.”

Alina Bormotova has been dancing for as long as she can remember. “My mom took me to my first ballet performance when I was about 4 years old,” she writes on her website. “That day changed my life. I was fascinated by ballet tutus, tiaras, and graceful dancers.”

Passionate about the world of ballet, Ms. Bormotova recently added another layer to her successful career as a dancer and teacher — entrepreneur. “My inspiration is all powerful businesswomen who are successful in their careers and personal lives,” she said.

Ms. Bormotova created Ballerinaboxx, an online boutique that offers ballet accessories and dancewear from all over the world to young aspiring ballerinas and established dancers. As CEO and Owner, she is involved in every aspect of the business, including curating boxes, as well as finance, sales and marketing. “At this phase, I need to be a jack-of-all trades, but I would love to expand my team in the future,” she said.

Although getting a business off the ground can be demanding, Ms. Bormotova acknowledged she is up for the challenge and is motivated by the joy her products bring to young dancers. “As a creator of ballet gifts for little ballerinas, I love to see their smiles when they open our box,” she said. As to the future, Ms. Bormotova plans to grow her business, increase sales and participate in fundraising events.
