"Regardless of age, gender or cultural background, sexual assault is an abomination of fundamental human rights. Now is the time to stand united - beyond political boundaries - against those who freely pilfer our nation's innocence and cripple its spirit through acts of depravity."

"Regardless of age, gender or cultural background, sexual assault is an abomination of fundamental human rights. This intolerable act must be recognized as such, as well as the debilitating toll it takes on its victims. Now is the time to stand united – beyond political boundaries – against those who freely pilfer our nation's innocence and cripple its spirit through acts of depravity."

"I'm the co-founder of a company dedicated to the emotional well-being and healing of hearts, and those affected by sexual assault need all the support we can give them. The core of Teamotions is compassion and I strive to empower women to heal through tea, adaptogen herbs, and hope. Teamotions empowers women to take back their hearts and heal one cup of tea at a time."
In 2011, Rachel co-founded Teamotions, an emotional well-being focused tea company that blends tea with adaptogens, remarkable herbs that are scientifically proven to boost strength and immunity, restore balance, and improve the body's response to stress, which promotes emotional and physical healing. Teamotions was inspired by the heartbreaking deaths of Rachel's twin daughters Aubrey and Ellie in 2008, just a few weeks after they were born. Together with her sister Crystal Tenpenny, they are on a mission to offer comfort to others in difficult times and share their message of hope and healing through tea.
A teacher, speaker, and writer, Rachel shares candidly and transparently about her journey through grief and provide real tools and insight into the healing process, especially the role tea played in sustaining and comforting her life every step of the way. Rachel believes that healing is always possible with the right support, information, and tools.
"My vision for our children and their future is to educate and instill tools for a fearless spirit. As a young child, I was abused repeatedly by my father. I also watched my father repeatedly abuse my sisters and my brothers. The cry for help led me to want to help our society through my writings and my work. My story, 'This Should Never Have Happened', reveals my courage to shed light on the darkness of repeated abuse."
Laura Vivian is a former Fortune 500 leader, speaker, author, and educator. Laura is the author of "This Should Never Have Happened", a true-life account of Laura, a child whose mother only physically present and a father's force that was ever present imposing sexual terror upon their seven children. Laura is beginning her second book release date to be determined.
"The aftermath of sexual, emotional or physical abuse produces thoughts of fear, shame, and loss of identity. In particular, after a sexual assault, women wrestle with tormenting mindsets of shame. Through the work of my ministry, I not only see negative mindsets being transformed into ones of positive hope and a glorious future—but I also see the invisible wounds of the brokenhearted healed. Though it is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, it is really the awareness year!"
"If I could crawl inside your mind for 24 hours would I have a good day?" 80% of Christians wrestle with negative mindsets. The war between your ears affects everything you do—from personal relationships to success in business. As a woman of faith, Linda Breitman is an ordained minister, author, and inspirational speaker. Her latest study curriculum, "The Real You – Believing Your True Identity", including a book, workbook, and videos, inspires people to align their thoughts with heaven and see themselves through God’s eyes.
"As our nation remembers the victims of sexual assault this April 2018 for Sexual Assualt Awareness Month, I am asking our communities, our neighbors, our families, our leaders at the federal, state and local level to recognize the killer next door, sexual assault trauma. This epidemic affects our nation's service members at a greater level that we can't even fathom. Let us use our voices to heal the deafening sound of the invisible wounds of sexual assault."
