Fast growing financial planning technology company lifts out four key employees from top Wall St. Firm to fuel its enterprise sales

Advizr, a financial planning technology company, announced today the hiring of four former Morgan Stanley employees to help bolster efforts in expanding its footprint and deliver more innovative planning. Fresh off a recent Series A round of financing, Advizr has been on a hiring spree, targeting key financial planning professionals who have been tasked with driving platform adoption and advisor revenues for Advizr’s largest enterprise customers.

These experienced professionals will lead several new roles at Advizr, including:

Chris Salvaggio - Advizr’s new Head of Customer Success. Salvaggio joins the firm with over 18 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. Most recently he was an Executive Director overseeing the development and integration of financial planning tools for Morgan Stanley. For years as the Director of Financial Planning Tools, Chris’ focus has been to help Financial Advisors incorporate financial planning as a key part of their business through the use of tools, education, and support. Salvaggio holds a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University, as well as CFP® and ChFC® designations.

Vibin Chowallur - Advizr’s new Program Director for Financial Planning Practice Management. Chowallur has been in the Wealth Management industry since 2002. His experience includes 15+ years of providing Financial Planning support to Financial Advisors at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. More recently, he managed the Financial Planning Support Desk and Training Consultants at Morgan Stanley. Having personally delivered thousands of one-on-one planning coaching sessions to advisors, Chowallur has an intimate understanding of the challenges facing today's Advisors. Chowallur holds a bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic University, as well as CFP®, CRPC®, and CRPS® designations.

Janice Y. Chan-Mui - Advizr’s new Director of Marketing will be leading the firm’s overall marketing strategy to help drive more awareness and engagement with plan providers as well as end-users. Chan-Mui brings over 12 years of Marketing experience within the Financial Industry. Most recently, she spent over 4 years at Morgan Stanley and led a variety of high profile marketing programs to increase awareness and engagement with their Private Banking products and services and drive adoption of their digital platform offerings with their Wealth Management clients. Chan-Mui holds a bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University.

Brian Morgan – Advizr’s new Manager of New Product Development will focus on driving financial planning enhancements and providing consulting support to Financial Advisors to help them streamline the delivery of financial plans using best-in-class technology. He spent the last seven years at Morgan Stanley as a Planning Solutions Specialist where he was responsible for Financial Planning Training and Support for the New England, Midwest and Northwest Regions. Morgan holds a bachelor’s degree from Stony Brook University, as well as the CFP® designation.
