Crown Automotive Group today announced the promotion of its former Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Joe Lamphier, to Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer.
“I am deeply grateful for all of the opportunities that I have been given at Crown Automotive Group and excited to see where this next chapter will take me,” said Joe Lamphier, Crown’s newly appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer.
Lamphier started his tenure at Crown as a pre-owned sales manager for Mercedes-Benz & Jaguar, progressing to General Manager of those dealerships, and then to Vice President Sales & Marketing. His latest promotion came after 27 years with the St. Petersburg-based dealership group.
“Having seen Joe develop during his tenure at Crown, I personally know the dedication, leadership and vision he will be bringing to his new role,” said Jim Myers, President and Chief Operating Officer at Crown Automotive Group.
The automotive veteran started in the car business in 1981, acquiring nearly four decades of experience in retail sales before becoming Crown’s new Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer.
“For us at Crown, putting Joe in this position was the next logical step. He has the marketing know-how and expertise to help us continue to grow,” said Dwayne Hawkins, founder and CEO.
Lamphier graduated from the University of Tampa in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Management.
