Vident Financial, LLC is proud to welcome Habib Moudachirou as Senior Portfolio Manager to Vident Investment Advisory, LLC (VIA). Mr. Moudachirou will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day portfolio management of VIA sub-advised ETFs. He will also further strengthen the operational efficiency of VIA’s trading and investment management operations and bring additional expertise to the team.

Vident Financial, LLC is proud to welcome Habib Moudachirou as Senior Portfolio Manager to Vident Investment Advisory, LLC (VIA).

Mr. Moudachirou brings over seventeen years of cross-asset trading, risk and portfolio management experience in both active and strategic beta indexation internationally. He specializes in managing factor-based investment strategies across the four major asset classes as well as creating and implementing bespoke research, structuring, and trading solutions. Mr. Moudachirou will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day portfolio management of VIA sub-advised ETFs. He will also further strengthen the operational efficiency of VIA’s trading and investment management operations and bring additional expertise to the team.

Prior to joining VIA, Mr. Moudachirou was an Executive Director and Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan, where he was responsible for building and managing smart beta and alternative risk premia strategies; employing cost-effective and liquid replacement solutions for hedge fund exposure and utilizing risk factor investing. While at J.P. Morgan, he also developed reporting and trading models for clients while optimizing strategies around various products, including ETFs. Before joining J.P. Morgan, Mr. Moudachirou was an equity Portfolio Manager at Emerging Global Advisors (EGA), where he was responsible for $1.8 billion in emerging markets equity ETFs. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at the quantitative arm of HSBC Global Asset Management in Europe and in the U.S., where he served in various investment roles. He is also an Adjunct Professor at New York University SPS.

Leading the company is Denise Krisko, who has over twenty years of portfolio management and trading experience, with an expertise in ETF management from more than a decade of managing ETFs. She has served in various leadership roles with Mellon Capital Management (MCM), Bank of New York (BNY), Northern Trust Deutsche Asset Management and The Vanguard Group. She has worked with dozens of ETF sponsors and has overseen the management of more than 150 ETFs.

Mr. Moudachirou holds BS in Physics from Pierre and Marie Curie University as well as an MS in Quantitative Finance from the University of Rennes, France. Additionally, he holds an MSE in Statistics from the French National School of Statistics University and Information Analysis, ENSAI. Mr. Moudachirou holds a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation.
