Montana Business Community Joins Avitus Group to Launch Inaugural Business by Business Summit June 12; Half of Proceeds Donated to Local Non-Profit Organization
BILLINGS, Mont. (PRWEB) April 05, 2018 -- The inaugural Business by Business Summit is set for June 12th at the Northern Hotel in Billings, Montana. The event aims to gather Montana and regional business leaders to address the business community's priority issues and to provide continuing education, all while giving back to local communities in Montana via the Montana Hope Project. The summit includes topics designed to accelerate small to medium sized businesses and features keynote speaker Ken Schmidt, who is the former communications director for Harley Davidson.
"The inaugural Business by Business Summit is a chance for local business leaders to come together, learn from each other and contribute to our city and state," says Avitus Group Executive Vice President of Business Development Travis Bruyere. "It's a great chance for less experienced business owners to learn, for more experienced business owners to teach and for all of us to fulfill the dreams of critically ill children. Avitus Group is very proud to be a partner in this summit."
The 2018 Business by Business Summit features a local business panel, a speed-learning segment and talks by nationally recognized speakers Ken Schmidt (formerly Director of Communications for Harley-Davidson) and Dave Mitchell. The summit is June 12 at the Northern Hotel in Billings from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (MT). Tickets can be purchased online and are $75 for individual and $560 for a table of 8 and include lunch.
"This event is unique in the fact that each person who registers for the summit is directly contributing to the Montana Hope Project. Twenty dollars of each registration fee goes directly to the Montana Hope Project to purchase a Montana Hope Bear, the organization's fundraiser. Bears will be available for pickup during the summit," says Avitus Group Public Relations Manager Dianne Parker. "Registration alone will help raise $3000-$6000 for the Montana Hope Project."
Half of all proceeds, including sponsorships, go to the Montana Hope Project. Additional event information, the agenda and sponsorship information can be found on the BxB Summit website.
The Montana Hope Project is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization supported by fundraising events and tax-deductible donations from generous corporate and private donors. In 2017, the organization granted 24 wishes at an average cost of close to $9,000 each. Wishes include family trips, sporting events and gifts.
"The Montana Hope Project, sponsored by the Association of Montana Troopers, has helped more than 470 critically ill Montana children's wishes come true since 1984," says Montana Hope Project Eastern Montana Coordinator Dave Evans. "Local business leaders have been strong supporters of our mission through their efforts to bring our name forward in the business community. The Business by Business Summit is a natural extension of that, and we thank all who participate."
