Myrtilla Miner Elementary School To Participate In S.T.E.A.M. Demonstration
Washington, DC (PRWEB) March 31, 2018 -- ilus Art, a San Diego-based company dedicated to advancing K-12 student education in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM), will present “The Art of Science” at Myrtilla Miner Elementary School on April 5th at 10 a.m. in the auditorium as part of the “USA Science & Engineering Festival” in Washington DC.
“We are honored to be part of the USA Science & Engineering Festival, as well as one of the Nifty-Fifty Speakers giving talks at schools in the Washington, D.C. area," said Janet Hubka, CEO of ilus Art. “I personally love getting students excited about lifelong learning in STEAM, which sets them on the path to become the next great scientist, doctor, teacher, engineer or artist."
The April 5th school presentation will be delivered by Janet Hubka and Dr. Mark Hubka and will showcase ilus Art’s K-12 lecture program, which inspires scientific curiosity by engaging students in STEAM through its unique cellular artwork. As a benefit corporation, ilus donates a portion of its proceeds from artwork sales to the labs that created the image and to regenerative medicine research.
