To double our goal within three days of our campaign shows consumers are ready for LooLoo and an alternative to sprays and aerosol fresheners that really just mask the odors emanating from the toilet after the deed is done.

Backers are helping the makers of the world’s first automatic toilet freshener get a great scent of success, investing more than $20,000 in LooLoo on Kickstarter – double the crowdfunding campaign goal only two days after the product was introduced.

“To break our goal quickly after launching on Kickstarter, then doubling our goal within three days of our campaign, shows consumers are ready for an alternative to sprays and aerosol fresheners that really just mask the odors emanating from the toilet after the deed is done,” said LooLoo Co-founder and inventor Taylor Wood. “LooLoo is the only solution out there that addresses the most common complaint people have with their toilet…the smell after someone does their No. 2 business.”

Wood’s observation is echoed by Digital Trend Writer Trevor Moog, who notes, “There are few things worse than walking into your bathroom only to be hit with an odor so offensive that you suspect it may contravene a Hague Convention or at the very least break a state law pertaining to antisocial behavior.”

By combining innovative technology and a slick, clean design, the LooLoo toilet freshener directly addresses the source of the smell issue on the inside of the toilet.
Using infrared technology to sense the heat of the body as a user sits down, LooLoo sprays its thin film of proprietary essential oils on the water inside the toilet. The fragrance blend not only traps the odor under the water, but also counteracts the odor by absorbing all smelly nitrate molecules – and accomplishes all these things before the user does their business and without the user having to do a thing.

“LooLoo was created with a very clear and simple vision of automatically freshening everyone’s life,” Wood said. “With LooLoo, no one has to ever touch a dirty deodorizer again. Without lifting a finger, LooLoo works its magic and leaves the bathroom smelling better than when they arrived.”

In addition, LooLoo also comes equipped with LED lights that softly illuminate the toilet bowl – and with nine colors to choose from – eliminating turning on a blinding light in the middle of the night when nature calls.

“Up to now, the only options were to light a match or spray an air freshener after using the toilet, and neither are very effective…since they’re used after the stench is already in the air,” Wood said. “LooLoo is designed to first stop the smell at the source before the smell even reaches your nostrils.”
