MIAMI Realtors Commercial Association Rebrands as MIAMI Commercial

The MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (MIAMI) has rebranded its commercial real estate organization, to MIAMI Commercial. MIAMI Commercial’s new name and logo is part of MIAMI’s successful expansion of the commercial reach of the Miami Association of Realtors that enhances the 25-year-old organization, which was formerly the Realtors Commercial Alliance MIAMI (RCA MIAMI).

MIAMI Commercial better represents who we are. Our name change will bring even more name recognition and further boost the brand of our incredible board and Miami Commercial members.

The MIAMI Association of REALTORS® (MIAMI) has rebranded its commercial real estate organization, to MIAMI Commercial. MIAMI Commercial’s new name and logo is part of MIAMI’s successful expansion of the commercial reach of the Miami Association of Realtors that enhances the 25-year-old organization, which was formerly the Realtors Commercial Alliance MIAMI (RCA MIAMI).

“MIAMI Commercial better represents who we are,” said 2018 MIAMI Commercial President Brian Sharpe, a commercial Realtor with Sharpe Properties Group in Hialeah. “Our name change will bring even more name recognition and further boost the brand of our incredible board and Miami Commercial members. Our Realtor association and MIAMI Commercial provide more resources and services for South Florida Commercial members than any other nationally.”

The largest commercial Realtor association in Florida, MIAMI Commercial has more than 2,000 members in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Martin counties.

MIAMI Commercial provides members with more educational opportunities, networking, member services and a legislative voice. MIAMI’s government affairs team, for instance, helped convince state legislators to reduce Florida’s commercial lease tax from 6 percent to 5.8 percent. The new law, which took effect Jan. 1, is providing Florida businesses with more capital to expand and hire more employees.

The Commercial Association also provides members with commercial tools such as iMAPP, Member-to-Member marketing, MLS, Realist, and RPR Commercial. Some classes such as RP and Member-to-Member are integrated into a more comprehensive class.

MIAMI Commercial offers monthly commercial marketplace meetings in Miami and Broward and a quarterly gathering in Jupiter. These meetings offer the best opportunities in South Florida for commercial practitioners to increase their network and market commercial listings and needs.

It also a hosts myriad of seminars and conferences. MIAMI Commercial’s popular City Spotlights series, for example, brings together county, city, developers and commercial Realtors to discuss the latest developments in specific cities.
