Villages on MacArthur Holds Donation Drive for the DFW Humane Society
DALLAS (PRWEB) April 03, 2018 -- The Villages on MacArthur, a local skilled care and memory care community, is hosting a donation drive to aid the animals of the DFW Humane Society. As part of the ‘Community Works’ program, an initiative giving seniors an opportunity to serve the community, the residents will hold the drive April 1st through May 5th.
“The residents of our facility wanted to focus on animals in need in our local community,” says Nicole Leary, Wellness Director of The Villages on MacArthur. “We will be making tie toys to donate as well as part of our Life Works Wellness program this month. Also, I have a rescue dog that visits the residents here sometimes and it just brings so much joy and love to our residents when he visits them.”

What: The Villages on MacArthur ask the public to bring donations of unused goods

• Towels and Blankets (new or gently used)
• Monetary Donations
- The DFW Humane Society gives the animals in their care Science Diet food, but they will accept all dog and cat food donations.
