MORRILL, Maine (PRWEB) April 03, 2018 -- Ironwood Maine, a licensed and New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) accredited therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens in Maine’s mid-Coast area, has named Nikole Seeger as education director. As Ironwood Maine’s education director, Ms. Seeger will oversee the academic success of Ironwood Maine’s residents, maintain and further Ironwood Maine’s accreditation recommendations, and help residents transition to secondary schools and colleges.
“Nikole’s academic background and life experiences will help our residents succeed academically through Ironwood Maine’s customized curriculum,” said Wes Horton, Ironwood Maine’s president. Horton continued, “We are excited to welcome Nicole to the Ironwood community and look forward to the continued success of our education program.”
Ms. Seeger is a graduate of Millersville University with undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education (K-8) and Special Education (K-12). In addition, Ms. Seeger holds a master’s degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and School leadership from Millersville University and supervisory and principal certifications. Ms. Seeger has taught both K-12 special education and middle school humanities and served as a school leader in Maine. Ms. Seeger is a registered EMT and is an active member of a volunteer EMS crew.
