O-Cedar® and Habitat for Humanity Partner for Home Is the Key Campaign and Offering $1 for Every ProMist® MAX Microfiber Spray Mop Sold to Benefit Affordable Housing
AURORA, Ill. (PRWEB) April 04, 2018 -- O-Cedar® has joined Habitat for Humanity during the second annual Home is the Key campaign to support the critical need of affordable housing across the United States. Proceeds from ProMist® MAX Microfiber Spray Mop and donations made through O-Cedar® from April 1-June 15, 2018 will directly benefit Habitat’s mission and help more people achieve the stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
“Building a new home is a labor intensive task, and the last thing people want to worry about is a strenuous clean-up process. Our products are known for being easy-to-use and efficient so it is a natural fit for us to partner with Habitat through the use of our cleaning tools during and post build,” said Mike Esposito, Director of Marketing at O-Cedar - Freudenberg Household Products.
From April 1 – June 15, 2018, help contribute to the cause. O-Cedar® will donate $1 to Habitat for every ProMist® MAX Microfiber Spray Mop sold by O-Cedar® to any U.S. retail channel in the U.S. up to a maximum of $200,000. Visit https://promistmax.com/habitat-humanity/ for more information.
People can also back the campaign by donating at habitat.org and by sharing their support using #HomeIsTheKey on social media.
Inaugurated in 2017, Habitat’s Home is the Key campaign convenes sponsors, celebrities and community leaders to drive support for affordable housing needs in the U.S., and aims to demonstrate how a decent, affordable home creates a better life for families and individuals. The 2017 campaign recently won two PR News’ CSR & Nonprofit Awards and was named as a finalist for Engage for Good’s Halo Awards and Ragan’s PR Daily.
Families and individuals in need of a hand up partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage.
“Continuing our partnership with Habitat, as one of their valued partners, means we can help the organization continue to build affordable housing with more people, and play a role in the positive impact they have on families,” said Mike Esposito, Director of Marketing at O-Cedar - Freudenberg Household Products.
