International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) Announces 2018 Founders Awards Winners
STANARDSVILLE, Va. (PRWEB) April 05, 2018 -- The International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation ("IWIRC") is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2018 Founders Awards. Bernadette Barron, Barron Business Consulting, will be awarded the Melnik Award for exceptional contributions by an IWIRC member. Pooja Sinha, a partner at GLS Law in Singapore will receive the Fetner Award for exceptional contributions by an international IWIRC member. The Singapore Network is the winner of the Ryan Award for outstanding IWIRC Network.
"IWIRC is so impressed with the efforts and accomplishments of the 2018 awards recipients," said Jennifer McLemore, the IWIRC Chair and a partner with Christian & Barton, LLP in Richmond, Virginia. "Bernadette is a dedicated member who has worked to grow the organization, mentored members, taken leadership positions, planned significant events, and fostered the mission of IWIRC. Pooja has taken IWIRC to new levels internationally, expanding the influence and importance of the organization. We laud the Singapore Network for its accomplishments in establishing a network through growth initiatives and expansive educational and social programs for IWIRC members."
Bernadette Barron has served IWIRC in numerous capacities. Her nominator said Bernadette "is a true role model and IWIRC and its members are all the better for having [her] in our ranks." She is a strong advocate, tireless volunteer, and a leader.
Pooja Sinha currently serves as an At-Large Director. "Pooja was instrumental in expanding the Singapore Network. As an At Large IWIRC director, Pooja has also stepped up in expanding IWIRC in India and Asia," stated her nominator. "She is an up and coming IWIRC leader both in Asia and globally."
The Singapore Network continues to grow because of its creative and broad programming and networking opportunities. "We believe that since its establishment in 2009, the Singapore Network has gone from strength to strength and, in the past few years, this has culminated in some significant success stories," stated the Network's nominators.
