Golf Academy of America in Dallas announced today that it will host a live remote broadcast with SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio on Friday, April 13. The event will coincide with the Dallas campus’ highly anticipated Open House event.

The Open House will begin at 8:30 a.m. CDT and will run until 11 a.m., while the live remote will be broadcast on Hank Haney Golf Radio from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. CDT. The broadcast will feature co-host Steve Johnson in person, while co-host Hank Haney will join the broadcast from his studio.

The radio program, which will largely take place in the school’s technology center, will feature live interviews, including a conversation with Campus President Mike McDonald as he describes the Open House event, as well as the student life and academic programs available at Golf Academy of America.

During this exciting event, Golf Academy of America’s campus will be bustling as students attend class and mill around campus, while Open House attendees explore the school and learn about its offerings.

Those who register for the Open House will have the opportunity to explore campus and meet with faculty, staff and students. Attendees will learn more about the various golf programs offered by Golf Academy of America, experience live demonstrations and can even play a free round of golf at a local golf course.

Additionally, Open House attendees can meet with an admissions officer to discuss which career path in the $76 billion golf industry might suit them best, and chat with a representative from the financial aid office to learn more about methods for making school more affordable.

Both the Open House and the live remote will take place at the Golf Academy of America in Dallas campus, located at 1861 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, TX 75234.

“It’s always fantastic to welcome prospective students to campus for our Open House events,” said Golf Academy of America National Director of Operations Steve Newman. “Hosting Steve Johnson and Hank Haney for a PGA TOUR Radio live remote broadcast is an additional honor, and we are excited to show off our talented students and faculty.”

In addition to co-hosting a SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio show, Hank Haney and Steve Johnson both have stellar reputations as golf instructors, having coached players at all levels. Many of their pupils have gone on to win prestigious championships.

The Open House is free to attend. Event attendees must be 18 years of age or accompanied by a parent or guardian. Register for this no-cost event here to start your journey to a golf career.
