KOAMTAC Adds New HF and UHF RFID Companions to KDC470 SmartSled Barcode Scanner
PRINCETON, N.J. (PRWEB) April 05, 2018 -- KOAMTAC®, Inc., a leading manufacturer of Bluetooth® barcode scanners, RFID readers and mobile point of sale (mPOS) companions is expanding its line of products, adding brand new HF and UHF modules for its KDC470 SmartSled® Barcode Scanner.
The new HF and UHF readers will allow users to read various RFID tags with a wide range of smartphones and tablets. Coming in both 0.5 watt and 1.0-watt, UHF companions cover from short/mid-range reading to long-range UHF tag reading. These modules are perfect for applications such as asset tracking and inventory management while the HF companion enables various ticketing and identification applications.
The modular design of the KDC470 allows you to upgrade your smartphone or tablet without having to upgrade your scanner. It also allows you to easily add new technology to your scanner. Optional modules include RFID, payment or a pistol grip and can be added at any time. You can also add a replaceable and rechargeable battery for projects that require long operating hours.
