OEC Chief Operating Officer Named One of Automotive News' 2018 "Rising Stars"
CLEVELAND, Ohio (PRWEB) April 10, 2018 -- OEConnection LLC (OEC), the leading automotive technology provider for original equipment manufacturers’ (OEM) distribution networks, announced today that Ike Herman, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, was honored as one of Automotive News’ 2018 Rising Stars – Automakers & Suppliers. Herman will be recognized at a ceremony at the Detroit Athletic Club on April 17, along with other honorees, and was featured in a special section of Automotive News yesterday.
Automotive News selects Rising Stars, aged 45 and under, from all disciplines of the supply side of the automotive industry for their drive toward innovation, leadership and sustainable business improvement. Herman has demonstrated those principles over his career at OEC. He instituted the Pragmatic Marketing Framework as a best practice for Product Management at OEC, creating a standard language and blueprint for developing technology and business strategies across complex markets that directly improved new product development and change management. This implementation has been a key contributor to record growth at OEC within each business unit. In prior roles, Herman has been instrumental in defining the company’s signature customer onboarding methodology. He also serves as a mentor, taking pride in the development and success of others.
Herman joined OEC in 2003 and advanced within the customer-facing units of the organization with leadership roles in Sales, Account Support and Product Management. Prior to his promotion to COO, he served as Vice President, Business Team Leader – Supply Chain and eCommerce, the company’s largest strategic business unit. He is a past honoree of the OEC “Boss of the Year” award, as well as the prestigious OEC Chairman’s Award, which recognized his significant contributions in innovation for the company.
“I’m honored to be a part of the 2018 class of Rising Stars,” Herman said. “I’m proud of my accomplishments at OEC and look forward to the future as I continue to grow my career with the organization.”
Congratulations to Ike for this achievement, and to the other Automotive News Rising Stars!
