Shaw Sports Turf Announce Title Sponsorship of Tampa Bay Rays Youth Baseball and Softball Days

Shaw Sports Turf will sponsor a set of three Youth Baseball and Softball days for the Tampa Bay Rays to be held in conjunction with Sunday home games in April and May in Tropicana Stadium.

Shaw Sports Turf is proud to announce Title Sponsorship of the Tampa Bay Rays Youth Baseball and Softball Days at Tropicana Field. These events are an opportunity for increased involvement with a great customer and their community to reinforce an already strong partnership. The Shaw Sports Turf vision is to be “MORE THAN A FIELD” to customers and partners alike.

On select Sunday home games in April and May, the Rays host youth baseball and softball leagues from around the region that are given the opportunity to come enjoy the game, participate in a pregame parade on the field, and run the bases post-game. The games feature group sale ticket offers and the opportunity for leagues to fundraise at the same time. Each game also features a giveaway for kids 14 and under. Shaw Sports Turf feels that these community activities are important to the game of baseball and are excited to be part of the events for 2018.

Several Youth Baseball and Softball Days have been scheduled, all of which will include the on-field parade, on April 15, April 22, and May 6. The home of the Tampa Bay Rays, Tropicana Field, saw a conversion to Shaw Sports Turf in 2017. The Rays are one of only two MLB teams to play on synthetic turf.
