Liu joined the joint venture in 2004 as vice president and led the team that launched Microsoft online services and developed local products and services to improve Chinese users experience.
In 2016, Liu set up Westwin and carried out management buyout of the joint venture. Today, led by Liu, Westwin serves as Microsoft’s exclusive BingAds monetization partner in China, provides Smart Ads integrated marketing solutions to help Chinese customers to reach thousands of global media platforms and apps, and Ads to China cross-border advertising solutions for overseas customers to help them promote their brand to China.
