Arizona Federal Partners With 100 Club to Offer First Responders Debit Card
PHOENIX (PRWEB) April 12, 2018 -- Arizona Federal Credit Union, a locally-based financial cooperative, has partnered with the 100 Club of Arizona to offer the 100 Club of Arizona Visa® debit card, benefiting police officers, firefighters and other first responders.
“We have been so fortunate to have Arizona Federal as a long-term partner,” said Angela Harrolle, chief executive officer and president of the 100 Club of Arizona. “For every card issued, Arizona Federal will make an annual donation to the 100 Club. The donations from the new card will support local first responders in the community through programs like our scholarship fund, safety enhancement stipends to equip first responders in the field, and financial assistance in times of crisis."
The debit card is exclusively available through Arizona Federal Credit Union and matches the design of the first responders license plate offered by the Arizona Department of Transportation. For a limited time, new members can get the Visa card and earn $100 when they open a new account and complete 10 or more debit card transactions in 45 days. Current Arizona Federal members can request the new 100 Club of Arizona Visa debit card by calling or stopping by their local branch.
“So far the response has been tremendous, with more than 6,200 cards issued,” said Ronald L. Westad, president and chief executive officer of Arizona Federal. “With the 100 Club of Arizona Visa debit card, we are able to provide a way for our members and the community at large to show their support for local first responders.”
