Lior Div is leading the growth of Cybereason in Boston and the company is one of many with Israeli roots that are taking advantage of the talent and academic ecosystem to grow a global brand.

Cybereason CEO Lior Div (L) and CyberArk CEO Udi Mokady received the prestigious Asper Award from Brandeis President Ron Liebowitz

“Receiving the Asper Award from Brandeis is humbling because hundreds of talented executives in Massachusetts bring a profound entrepreneurial focus and spirit to their companies and our economy. Our mission at Cybereason is to make cyber crime unprofitable for hackers," said Lior Div.

Cybereason, creators of the leading cybersecurity data analytics platform including endpoint detection and response, next-generation antivirus, and active monitoring services, announced that Lior Div, the company’s co-founder and CEO, received Brandeis University’s 2018 Asper Award for Global Entrepreneurship at an event on Tuesday, April 10 celebrating the Israel-Massachusetts economic relationship. Udi Mokady, Chairman and CEO of CyberArk, also received an Asper Award.

“Being named the recipient of the Asper Award from Brandeis University is very humbling because of the hundreds of talented executives in Massachusetts and the broader New England region that bring a profound entrepreneurial focus and spirit to their companies and our economy. At Cybereason, we are experiencing record growth, but I am not satisfied because of the advantage adversaries still have over the vast majority of companies. Our singular mission at Cybereason is to make cyber crime unprofitable by placing the bullseye squarely on the backs of hackers," said Div.

Cybereason is one of the fastest growing technology companies in the world having recently announced a record 2017 with an increase in revenues of more than 140 percent and an increase in new customers of more than 200 percent.

“The Asper Center for Global Entrepreneurship at Brandeis International Business School is pleased to award Lior Div and Udi Mokady with this year's Asper Award for Global Entrepreneurship. The center's mission is to promote and accelerate entrepreneurship across cultures and borders. Lior’s and Udi’s leadership as pioneers on cybersecurity issues, and their companies' tremendous growth, exemplifies the spirit of our center and the strength of the Israel-Massachusetts economic relationship,” said Ben Gomes-Casseres, Director of Brandeis International Business School’s Asper Center for Global Entrepreneurship.
