jmax young’s New Book “The She Devil from Fire Island” is the Hilarious and Engrossing Story of Baez the Female Wrestler Searching for Her Kidnapped Daughter
SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) April 19, 2018 -- jmax young, an extensive traveler and compulsive writer now based in San Diego, has completed his new book “The She Devil from Fire Island”, a brilliant and comical work that traces the unconventional adventures of a professional female wrestler looking out for her child in a world of entertainment and danger.
Author young knew that to sustain such a comic-book hurricane of a story, he needed to establish an anchor of calm and meaning; and he does this for his main character, whose hectic life is focused on her young daughter, Shiloh: “I listened to the announcer who said I hailed from Canada. In fact I had been deported for beating my children with a rock. The boos were simmering even before I strutted down the aisle to the ring. Some of the boos were moist. I jumped over the top rope doing a brief hand stand before landing. I had accidently watched some big-time wrestling on TV before, so I just pantomimed what the idiots did on the little screen. Shiloh will never watch wrestling. I think I would prefer made for TV Barbie. Shiloh was my center. Whenever I was doing anything that was unpleasant, dancing topless, taking a pop quiz, arguing with my mother, or excessively praising Evelyn, I placed Shiloh in the center of my focus. My focus had been becoming an engineer. Now it was my sweet daughter.”
Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, jmax young’s new book powerfully highlights the ceaseless dedication of a strong single mother in a male-driven world as she goes on a years-long mission to find her way—and her kidnapped child—all exploding together to make for a highly entertaining read.
Readers who wish to experience this high-octane work can purchase “The She Devil from Fire Island” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play, or Barnes and Noble.
