Author Leonna Jackson’s newly released “Just North” is a tale about the drug and alcohol abuse and spiritual war that plagues the youth of today.
MEADVILLE, Pa. (PRWEB) April 20, 2018 -- “Just North”: the mission of two ministering angels dispatched to save a family. “Just North” is the creation of published author, Leonna Jackson. Leonna is a retired teacher with twenty years of experience working with troubled students. She has been instrumental in counseling students through the life-threatening dangers that these teens face. Her heart’s desire is to help these individuals become aware of the “spiritual battles” that exist. Leonna is a warm and thought-provoking Christian conference speaker. She has survived some of the darkest and scariest experiences in life, including cancer. Leonna asked the Lord to become the Master and Savior of her life at the age of sixteen. She did not, however, always allow Him to be the Master of her life as she let Him take second place to her flesh, peer-pressure, and “worldly” goals. She made many bad decisions that ended in bad consequences. She now finds inspiration and guidance through the Lord who has led her through these struggles and who reminds her daily where and how to find His love and faith. Leonna and her husband, Charlie, live in rural Mid-Missouri. They are blessed with two married sons, Matthew and Michael. They, along with their wives Tricia and Jessica, have given Leonna and Charlie five wonderful grandchildren to whom this book is dedicated.
“Being aware of the battle is only half the battle. We must teach individuals the perfect spiritual weapon to use in battle. This weapon is called PRAYER!” --Leonna Jackson
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Leonna Jackson’s new book recounts the tale of two Holy Warriors.
As the ambulance sped out of the school parking lot, rumors at Bethany High School were running rampant. The third-hour class bell had just rung, and kids were streaming out of their classes. The ambulance’s flashing lights and siren could still be seen and heard as it transported Doug to Bethany Memorial Hospital. His fellow students thought Doug might be dead. They knew he used drugs. They assumed that he must have overdosed.
As the students speculated, Lesam and Lejoy sat on the top of the lockers, invisible to those surrounding them. Forever awaiting the command of God, the Ministering Angels have been forced to watch as the youth become unsuspecting victims of a spiritual battle between good and evil. God has, however, just given them a mission. Their objective is the Stevenson Family.
