VrTech Announcing 2nd Vacation Rental Tech Start-Up Award Competition
BARCELONA (PRWEB) May 31, 2018 -- The VrTech Startup Competition, aimed at young software companies that are creating innovative tech solutions for the vacation rental industry, announced it now accepts entries from startups founded after 2015 for its 2nd annual award title.
Known as the only award recognized by the vacation rental industry, The VrTech Competition was launched last year by Barcelona-based VrTech Events when it received a staggering 40 applicants. Three finalists were chosen by a set of industry-expert jury and included Known Factors, a business intelligence platform; Igloohome, smart locks and smart keybox provider; and Hello Here, an innovative welcome app for guests. The later was crowned competition winner.
“The title helped us increase brand awareness in the industry, raise capital and reach new customers,” says Piotr Kubiczek, CEO at Hello Here, “It was a great step forward.”
This year entries will be accepted until the 1st of July 2018 and applicants must be softwares founded after 2015. One finalist, Stasher (luggage storage service) was already chosen by a crowd of property managers at a VRMIntel Live event in March. Two more finalists will be chosen from the pool of applicants: one by a set of industry expert jury and the other by a public vote.
The three finalists will present their business idea in front of property managers at the Vacation Rental World Summit, held in Lake Como on the 6th-7th of October 2018. In addition to gaining visibility and new business prospects, the winner of the 2018 edition will benefit from consultancy by HOWZAT Partners investment fund, and an Advert and Article in the distinguished VRM Intel Magazine.
