Cyber Educators International
CEI will bring together thousands of teachers who have already led Cyber instruction in their classrooms with teachers who are just beginning that journey.
SAN FRANCISCO (PRWEB) April 18, 2018
RSA Conference – Cyber Educators International (CEI) announced today the launch of an industry-driven initiative focused on creating a global community of educators interested in bringing Cyber curriculum into their classrooms.
Ed Goetz, a former FBI Counter Cyber Terrorism executive and Chief Security Officer of Exelon, has been named CEO. “With an expanding talent-skills gap in the global cyber workforce, this is a critical time for organizations to play a significant role in ensuring our educators have the resources needed to prepare the next generation of cyber professionals,” stated Mr. Goetz.
Robert Rodriguez Chairman & Founder of SINET remarked “SINET is proud to support the mission of Cyber Educators International (CEI) and help build the next Cyber Generation. This mission begins with supporting our educators to ensure they have the tools needed to help their students pursue careers in Cybersecurity.“
“CEI will bring together thousands of teachers who have already led Cyber instruction in their classrooms with teachers who are just beginning that journey. These pioneering educators will accelerate their collaboration and build a community for teachers where global educators can find resources and share best practices,” stated Steve Morrill, Cyber Science Loyola Blakefield High School in Baltimore, MD.
