Technology advancements are dramatically changing our nation’s workforce and creating highly-skilled creative and technical jobs.

This leadership forum will address the nation’s skills gap, ensure the U.S. tech sector has the high-skilled workers it needs and devise strategies to upskill U.S. workers to succeed in the 21st century. CTA briefed the White House on Monday about the Council – CTA’s newest member group – and on how the tech sector helps Americans prepare for the future of work.

Working at the intersection of creative and digital, TeamPeople provides top creative and technical talent for in-house studios, content creation, media management and AV support and delivery. The company has been a long-standing member of CTA.

“Technology advancements are dramatically changing our nation’s workforce and creating highly-skilled creative and technical jobs. TeamPeople has been focusing on closing the skills gap and creating a highly-skilled workforce for our diverse clients. I am excited to have Monica Lucero, SVP of Marketing & Sales, represent TeamPeople on this impressive council. Her unique broadcast and staffing background paired with her passion for building diverse teams makes her a perfect fit for this council” said Genia Spencer, Executive Vice President, Creative & Digital Services at TeamPeople.

TeamPeople has actively worked in the local DC metro area to infuse apprentice programs that focus on emerging technical capabilities in AV, broadcast and digital media environments. In addition, the company has dedicated efforts around transitioning veterans into the technology and communications landscape. With a focus on closing the nation’s skills gap regardless of age, gender or background, TeamPeople will be a valuable addition to the CTA’s 21st Century Workforce Council.
