Rochester Institute of Technology backs Kimera’s Quantum Mechanics based approach

"Artificial General Intelligence is the only human invention that cannot be designed to solve a specific problem – it has to be raised." – Mounir Shita, Founder & CEO, Kimera

Kimera today announced its webinar to explain its single-algorithm Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) technology – the technology that will fundamentally change what it means to live on Planet Earth. Kimera will host a webinar on May 3 where the company will share the science and implementation of its AGI. Kimera is the world’s first company to develop a working model of AGI.

Scientific Approach Backed by Rochester Institute of Technology:
Kimera will be sharing its AGI infrastructure with Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) this fall. RIT is the first university to integrate AGI into their teaching and research. RIT supports Kimera’s quantum mechanics based approach to AGI and reached out to the company. The technology will be integrated into instruction that is aligned with the well-being of humanity.

AI Industry Perspective on Artificial General Intelligence:
Dr. Pedro Domingos, Professor in Computer Science & Engineering at University of Washington comments on the invention of a master algorithm, or single-algorithm AGI – “Inventing it would be one of the greatest advances in the history of science. It would speed up the progress of knowledge across the board, and change the world in ways that we can barely begin to imagine.”

Kimera AGI Fundamentals:
In 2005, Mounir Shita, Kimera founder and CEO began researching one fundamental question which lacked a sufficient scientific answer: What is intelligence? Instead of pursuing neuroscience based approaches to AI, Kimera discovered that generalized intelligence could best be modeled in software using principles from quantum mechanics. Kimera developed its General Theory of Intelligence – defining intelligence and modeling it in a computer algorithm. The AGI learns to understand users and their world with ever increasing accuracy. Through using its space-time expansion algorithm, anything the technology learns can be applied wherever it has value, for any user regardless of domain.

About Kimera
Incorporated in 2012, Kimera Systems, Inc. is the developer of the world’s first artificial general intelligence (AGI) technology that enables connected devices to proactively assist people in their everyday lives while bettering humanity in the process. As the technology learns, it becomes aware of users’ goals and understands the context of their activities with every increasing accuracy. Anything the technology learns can be applied where it has value, to any user in any situation. Through eventually understanding the collective goals of society, the company envisions the technology to assist in solving some of humanity’s most pressing problems, from eliminating global poverty to finding a cure for cancer. The company is headquartered in Portland, Oregon and will launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) this summer. For more information visit Kimera.ai
