Founded in 2010, OCHO Candy™, a fun, organic alternative to traditional chocolate bars, has announced that its two most popular flavors have hit the Walgreens candy aisle. Snack-size pouches of individually wrapped OCHO Coconut Mini bars and OCHO Peanut Butter Mini bars (SRP $3.99/3.5 oz.) are now available at more than 7,000 Walgreens stores coast to coast.

Unlike conventional candy bars, which are typically enrobed, OCHO uses custom-designed candy molds to create chocolate shells that are filled with freshly made centers. Because the company tempers its high-quality organic chocolate, every bar has a beautiful sheen and a distinctive snap. Fillings are made in-house with simple, expertly sourced ingredients that are chosen for their quality and unique flavor profiles. Wrapped in bright, colorful packaging, OCHO Candy bars and minis are as appealing on the outside as they are on the inside.

The OCHO Candy portfolio contains eight candy bar flavors in pouches or single-serve bars, including OCHO PB&J, OCHO Coconut, OCHO Peanut Butter, OCHO Dark Peanut Butter, OCHO Caramel, OCHO Caramel & Peanut, OCHO Dark Caramel and OCHO Peppermint, as well as seasonal flavors and shapes.

About OCHO Candy

OCHO Candy was founded in 2010 by natural food expert Denis Ring, the mastermind behind Whole Foods’ 365 Everyday and Safeway’s O Organics. He saw a missed opportunity to create a fun, organic chocolate bar, so he started to experiment with his own chocolate bar creations. Ring wanted honest feedback, so he brought his early samples to his friend, fellow dad, and entrepreneur Scott Kucirek, the co-founder of zipRealty, Inc.
