Steven Sodolak’s Newly Released “Open Heart Surgery” is a Stirring Memoir of a Man Whose Journey to Christ During the Prime of His Life Shows That It Is Never Too Late
MEADVILLE, Pa. (PRWEB) April 27, 2018 -- “Open Heart Surgery”: a moving and frank memoir of a man’s salvation in the middle of his life. “Open Heart Surgery” is the creation of published author Steven Sodolak, a self-admitted “simple man” and lover of the great outdoors who lives in Bryan, Texas, with his wife and three kids.
Steven shares, “Now I knew what God wanted me to do. He was just letting me know I wouldn’t be able to save them all, and that I would have some struggles along the way. I woke my wife and told her about the experience I just had and how lucky I was that the God Almighty answered me when I prayed and how I felt as though He was here in my presence. I know some of the things you read seem far-fetched; to be perfectly honest, after reading all of it and looking it over, I couldn’t quite believe it either. I still ask, ‘Why me?’ I know it’s all the truth. I have no reason to lie, because I am looking to gain nothing from this. I am just writing about things that have happened in my life in the hope that someone will read it and accept God into their heart and repent for their sins and turn to live a righteous life, for we owe it all to God. I was forty-three when I came to Christ, and I plan on serving Him for the remainder of my days while learning more of His word.”
Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Steven Sodolak’s new book is a moving autobiography that bears the mark of humility, grace, and the wisdom that comes with time, as well as a compassionate heart for people who may not have as yet encountered Christ in the striking and life-altering way that the author did.
Just as the Bible teaches that every man has to work out his own salvation, every story of conversion to Christ is unique and potentially moving—and plainspoken Sodolak, with his joy, visions, and everyday miracles, is no different.
