Avision Robotics and Hoversurf Launch Urban Air Mobility

Avision Inc. and Hoversurf Inc. sign partnership agreement to enable urban air mobility in Los Angeles by 2021.

Avision Inc. is a provider of airspace technology for unmanned traffic management (UTM) and fleet automation. The company has been working with NASA on low-altitude traffic management system since 2015. In partnership with FAA, Avision Inc. is implementing UTM pilot project in USA. Avision Flight platform offers real-time routing, de-confliction, and regulation compliance for autonomous survey, drone delivery, air mobility and more. CEO Stas Mozolyuk says: “Hoversurf offers innovative turbine technology and small vehicle footprint. These features reduce the noise and enable takeoff and landing at any location.”

Hoversurf Inc. based in California, is a leader in VTOL technology and holder of several electric jet patents. Company-built hoverbikes are already being commercialized with thousands of pre-orders in the pipeline. Hoversurf also plans to start flight-testing its passenger drone dubbed “Formula” at the end of 2018. While other competitors are developing similar VTOL vehicles, Formula is a unique solution that is the size of the passenger car and capable of landing at a regular parking spot. CEO Alex Atamanov says: “Avision Flight platform empowers new business models in urban air mobility. We are creating a new market and will be the leader in the space.”
