Oracle, American Scandinavian Foundation Choose OpenWater Application and Review Platform
ARLINGTON, Va. (PRWEB) April 27, 2018 -- Oracle, one of America’s most influential software companies, and American Scandinavian Foundation, the country’s largest Nordic culture advocacy group, found common solution to different needs using OpenWater application and review software.
Oracle, established in 1977, is a multinational leader in marketing database software and technology, cloud engineered systems, and enterprise software products.
American Scandinavian Foundation (ASF) was established in 1910 by Danish-American industrialist Niels Poulson. ASF is now the leading cultural and educational link between the U.S. and Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The five Nordic Heads of State serve as the organization's patrons.
OpenWater is a SaaS (software as a service) company that helps people manage application and review processes. OpenWater’s Growth Stack platform has specially developed tracks to manage competitive awards, scholarships, grants, fellowships, and other merit-based selections.
“We can accommodate a diverse range of Oracle recognition programs on a single platform, from partner program awards to scholarships,” explains Kunal Johar, co-founder of OpenWater. “It made sense to use our platform rather than develop a custom solution in-house.”
ASF will use the OpenWater platform to manage grants, internships, fellowships, and other programmatic needs promoting Nordic cultural exchange.
“We’re excited to work with a foundation as prestigious as ASF,” says Tim Spell, co-founder of OpenWater.
OpenWater is a rapidly growing startup based in Arlington’s Ballston neighborhood, a part of the Washington, D.C. metro area. Employees are primarily concentrated on the East Coast. Remote teams cross the country to serve national and international clients.
OpenWater has grown every year since inception. They recently signed a 7-year lease at 4401 Fairfax Drive, a larger location conveniently located near Metro and Capital Bikeshare.
