Former French Guinea National Team Soccer Player, Marvin Torvic, Releases #MeToo Tribute Song "How You Know it Ain't Gonna Work?"
MIAMI (PRWEB) July 03, 2018 -- As the #MeToo movement has grown worldwide men of all ages and stripes have had to consider the implications of their behavior. Just because once upon a time they did things doesn't mean that they will always behave the same way. Change sometimes comes slowly; but as society understands the wider ramifications of the casual treatment of relationships both men and women everyone is chiming in. However until recently it was mostly women that were being heard.
Nonetheless as written about in the NY Times just this past week. men are also dealing with the #MeToo movement if not in public then in private. Courageously exploring this issue, Torvic today released his own take on the new times in some men's lives:
How you know it ain’t gonna work
You say you don’t want to give me a chance,
All that because you know my past,
But babygirl that don’t mean a thing,
Cause people like me everyday they change,
You say I remind you of your ex,
But me and that n**ga babygirl we ain’t same,
Just like you I’m tired of the games,
Now days I’m trying to change,
How you know that it ain’t gonna work
Give me a chance and you will see
All you gonna feel is extacy
I’ll take you to places you ain’t never been
No limites on shopping sprees
Driving in foreigns
Tell me how you feel
Riding with a g
That’s how it’s gonna be
I promise you baby that we always gonna eat
Chorus
How do you know it ain’t gonna work
Ain’t gonna work
How do you know it ain’t gonna work
Ain’t gonna work
How do you know it ain’t gonna work
Ain’t gonna work
How do you know it ain’t gonna work
Ain’t gonna work
Give me a chance and you will see
You will see
Nowadays all the other chicks are to the side,
You number one trying to make you my wifey,
My ni**** saying I ain’t riding,
All I want to do now days is chill with you,
With you,
My heart is cold but sh*t you make it melt,
I ain’t the type to sing
But my heart is in a mess
I got to talk bout what
I’m feeling in my chest
Had to talk to bout these feelings
Cause they new to me
In this game I’m a vet I ain’t no rookie
Never been on the bench
I’m a key player
But I’m still sprung out
Like a trick with a stripper
Our a young boy
With bad for a baby sitter
Yea I wanted you and i had to have you
Now I got you and I can loose you
I’m playing to win
Yea
Im playing to win
Yea
Yea I wanted you and i had to have you
Now I got you and I can loose you
I’m playing to win
Yea
I’m playing to win
Yea
