LionsGate Entertainment, Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry Was Sued by William James and Terri Tucker Under (RICO)
ATLANTA (PRWEB) April 30, 2018 -- On March 19, 2018, the Plaintiffs William James and Terri Tucker filed a motion to enforce their judgments won against Defendants Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey and Lionsgate Entertainment in the Civil Rico Lawsuit, "Granted" in November 20, 2017.
On April 3, 2017, a case was filed by Plaintiffs William James and Terri Tucker vs. Defendants Lionsgate Entertainment, Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry. The case No. 17-CV-1181-TWT was filed in the Northern District Court of Georgia - Atlanta Division. The Plaintiffs charged the Defendants with the RICO Act of 18 U.S.C. 1961-1964.
On May 19-22, 2017, the Clerk of the Court entered two (2) separate default judgments against Lionsgate Entertainment and Oprah Winfrey for a little over 1.5 billion dollars. The case continued to run the course with over 167 document entries on the district court case record and thousands of pages of motions, pleadings, exhibits and legal arguments between the two parties.
On October 26, 2017, the Plaintiffs filed a final demand for Judgment that was “Granted” by a U.S. District Judge on November 20, 2017.
On March 19, 2018, the Plaintiffs William James and Terri Tucker filed a motion to enforce their judgments won against Defendants Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey and Lionsgate Entertainment.
