American Physician Partners Adds Eight New Contracts in Mississippi and Kansas

Expanding its presence in the state of Mississippi, APP assumed the emergency department management contracts for the following facilities:
• Merit Health Central, Jackson
• Merit Health Biloxi, Biloxi
• Merit Health Natchez, Natchez
• Merit Health Rankin, Brandon
• Merit Health River Region, Vicksburg
• Merit Health Wesley, Hattiesburg
On May 1, APP also took over the emergency department management contracts for Saint John Hospital in Leavenworth and Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, the company’s first entrée into the state of Kansas.
These new contracts combined represent approximately 250,000 annual emergency department patient visits and more than 125 new physicians and advanced practice providers.
