Three American IRA Team Members Pass Retirement Investment Training
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (PRWEB) May 09, 2018 -- Three American IRA team members recently passed retirement investment training, completing a full IRA class that promotes knowledge of diverse retirement strategies. Erika Wilson, Sean McKay, and Kyle Moody all completed the course, allowing them to offer a highly trustworthy level of service to American IRA clients and colleagues.
The retirement investment training focused on IRAs—especially Self-Directed IRAs. Attending these courses is part of American IRA’s ongoing mission to offer high quality service while remaining knowledgeable about the retirement landscape; specifically, Self-Directed IRAs. Although American IRA is not an investment firm offering specific investment advice, the knowledge of how Self-Directed IRAs work is an invaluable part of investors working with a Self-Directed IRA administration firm.
“I am really pleased our team continues to increase their technical knowledge,” said Jim Hitt. After completing these courses, Erika, Sean, and Kyle will not only be better able to help our clients, but they will help build a stronger infrastructure here at American IRA. That is what our clients rely upon: a strong infrastructure that helps them establish the Self-Directed IRAs upon which they can build their future.
The retirement training courses included certification in retirement and Self-Directed IRAs, designed to enhance not only skills and knowledge but to provide Self-Directed IRA administration firm clients with the trust they need to work with an organization like American IRA.
“Self-Direction is the way to go for a lot of people,” said Jim Hitt. “But they need to know that if they are going to Self-Direct and they are going to trust people with heavy paperwork, those professionals know exactly what they are doing. These certifications speak to our level of commitment to ongoing education and professionalism.”
The training comes courtesy of RITA, the Retirement Industry Trust Association. This organization fits in the American IRA mold by helping train and educate members in the administration of alternative investment vehicles like those often held in Self-Directed IRAs. The organization was formed in 1987, just one year after the Tax Reform Act of 1986 helped pave the way to modern retirement.
