Pivot Point Consulting’s Rachel Marano Named One of the Top 10 Female Leaders of Private US-Based Companies
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (PRWEB) May 03, 2018 -- Rachel Marano, Managing Partner of Pivot Point Consulting, a Vaco Company, was named one of the top 10 female leaders of private companies in a report released by competitive insights platform Owler.
In their CEO Likeability Study, Owler looked at 2,641 US-based private companies and found that only six percent—or 155 companies—had a female CEO. The organizations were drawn from industries like retail, education, finance, healthcare, tech and others.
Leaders of the companies were given an approval rating based on a favorability algorithm, then ranked. Those rankings were released in the report, “Breaking the Glass Ceiling: How Does the Owler Community Perceive Women in Power?” Marano came in ninth, with a rating of 97.3 out of 100.
The inclusion in Owler’s list was meaningful to Marano. “I’m honored to be on the same list as the leaders of companies like Vitamix, Wegmans and StitchFix,” she said. “This recognition indicates that not only am I doing the right things as a leader, but I’m also doing them in a way people appreciate and respect. That’s important to me.”
