Medtrics Launches Real-time Performance Tracking for Surgical Residency and Fellowship Programs
LEWISBURG, Pa. (PRWEB) May 02, 2018 -- Medtrics Lab, a technology company specializing in medical education announced the launch of a new procedure-based assessment module for their Medtrics platform. The new module was built with feedback from the surgical community and allows training programs to track performance of trainees in real-time. With Medtrics, faculty members can submit assessments on trainees immediately after completing a case in the operating room from their smart-phone or tablet instead of waiting until the end of a rotation or academic year.
Medtrics integrates the milestones for surgical residencies and fellowships provided by the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and supports the assessment forms provided by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). Program directors can quickly setup their assessment forms and distribute them to faculty members through Medtrics. As residents and fellows perform cases and collect evaluations, Medtrics tracks their performance in real-time, which helps them improve.
