Monmouth Jet Center, exclusive FBO of Monmouth Executive Airport in Wall New Jersey announces the availability of airport based helicopter charters and shuttle services to NYC and surrounding areas, according to Rita Spader, Executive Director of Operations at Monmouth Airport.
Helicopter Services are to be provided by New York Helicopter, who recently moved their fleet of helicopters and base of operations to Monmouth Executive airport. New York Helicopters has been a premiere provider of charters, transfers, and helicopter tours in the New York Area for over 20 years, with an impeccable safety record.
New York Helicopter made the decision to move to Monmouth Executive after years of rent increases and operation costs at other NY Area Helipads. According to Chief Pilot Mike Cambell, “Monmouth Airport has been up and coming ever since the management change a few years ago and they offered us reasonable hangar and fuel rates at a location that’s only a 14 minute chopper ride to NYC”.
With the longest private runway in the country at over 7000 feet, Monmouth Airport has seen a steady increase in traffic to the airport in the last 3 years and planned runway and FBO improvements are expected to elevate the airport into a world class jet center. “We’re thrilled to have the fleet of New York Helicopter based at Monmouth Jet Center,” says Rita “It’s a vital step in our mission to make Monmouth attractive to other Operators who are sick of the delays , high fees and operation costs they are paying at the other North East airports .
