Torrance Transit has already been offering access to real-time bus arrival information through their website and its mobile app called Transit, which launched in April of 2017. Now, through TextMarks SMS platform, more riders can access the same information through text messaging.

To use the service, Torrance Transit bus riders can text the keyword “4TTBUS” followed by the stop ID number to 41411. Stop ID numbers and these simple instructions are posted on over 300 new bus stop signs through the city and LA County region. Torrance Transit plans to cover all 800 bus stops by the end of the summer.
