Athena Announces 2018 Pinnacle Awards Winners
SAN DIEGO (PRWEB) May 04, 2018 -- Athena, a professional association dedicated to advancing women in STEM, is pleased to announce the 2018 Pinnacle Awards recipients. Each year, the Pinnacle Awards honors those elevating, advancing and promoting women working in the STEM fields. Six organizations and individuals earned top honors against a fiercely competitive group of over 70 nominees.
“More than 600 leaders in science, technology and business convened to celebrate these winners at Southern California’s signature STEM event,” said Holly Smithson, Athena CEO. “We honor these remarkable advocates that make it possible for more women to drive innovation in STEM and experience that empowerment necessary to overcome obstacles.”
