Coming to America - June 3rd-6th 2018

Raleigh, North Carolina will be playing host June 3rd-6th 2018 to an anticipated 550 attendees at the Raleigh Convention Center, coming together to share, contribute and advance clinical data science.
The PhUSE European annual conference has long been established as the premier conference for data science professionals to discuss and explore developments in clinical research standards. From Heidelberg in 2005 to Edinburgh in 2017, the European annual conference has been the cornerstone of everything achieved at PhUSE. Following a recent rebranding of the annual conference to the “Connect”, 2018 sees PhUSE building upon its European success by hosting its first-ever Connect in the US.
By way of tradition, inspirational speakers will open each day of the US Connect with a keynote speech. PhUSE are delighted to be welcoming Ian Khan (TEDx speaker and author) and Michael Rappa (Director, Institute for Advanced Analytics) and listening to their perspectives related to current topics within industry.
Jim Johnson, Connect Chair (Summit Analytical) says, “For many years PhUSE has demonstrated tremendous success with the Annual Conference in Europe, and we have taken all the experience and learning from the European Annual Conferences to plan this event”. The Connect sessions are set to be interactive, giving attendees plenty of opportunity to participate and discuss. The event will introduce a new Strategy in Programming stream and an expanded Regulatory stream, and the popular CSS Discussion Club will continue its work from the CSS in March. With 11 streams, 135 podium presentations, Hands-on Workshops and the Sunday night Poster session, the agenda for the US Connect will offer a wealth of expertise from a valuable cross-section of industry, encouraging learning, practice and networking.
