Texas Global Business Network (TGBN) Team Attends OTC
HOUSTON (PRWEB) May 07, 2018 -- The Offshore Technology Conference is a wrap for Houston, but short and long-term business opportunities for the United States and Texas are being supported and expanded via like-minded foreign trade business professionals, with a focus on trans-ocean development.
Members of the Texas Global Business Network (TGBN) included Art and Dawn Beatty of Beatty CPA, LLC, Jo Middleton of Trademark Insurance, Gus Bourgeois of BoyarMiller, and Sang Shin of Foster, LLP who met with Jon Walters, Deputy Head of North America for the Welsh Government at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC).
“Our business network expands beyond the borders of Texas and the United States,” said Gus Bourgeois of BoyarMiller and founder of TGBN, “We attended this year and met representatives from Wales to build and further the case for international trade and investment between the U.S. and Wales.”
Followers of TGBN may recall a recent trip to the UK in June 2017. A contingent of the members met with international leaders from London, Aberdeen, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, and Belgium. In addition, a recent memorandum of understanding was signed between Algiers, Africa and the TGBN in the same month.
The team later that year visited South Korea to explore opportunities in helping companies enter the U.S. market as well, which may prove to be perfect timing given the current state of emerging peace in the region.
There is a planned upcoming trip to Washington, DC this year to expand interests in international trade.
