Psychological Thrillers Pulled from Years of Personal Experiences Fuel Philanthropy for Los Angeles Novelist
WASHINGTON (PRWEB) May 05, 2018 -- Dr. Edward Dreyfus, Ph.D. has been practicing in the greater Los Angeles area for more than 50 years and he’s seen a little bit of everything in that time. From a stint as a street psychologist, which he uses as inspiration for his novel “The Midnight Shrink,” to his practice where he met the inspiration for “Gag Rule,” the story of a woman who is forced to keep quiet about sexual harassment, Dr. Dreyfus pens novels that reveal both a light side and a dark side that resides within each of us.
He chooses to use the light side of himself when volunteering with the many local organizations he is affiliated with. From helping organize a pop-up clothing boutique for inner-city youth to working to find funding for an organization that specializes in music therapy for hospital patients, Dr. Dreyfus sees the needs and chooses to fill them with his time and energy.
With six novels under his belt and several nonfiction books as well, Allen Media Strategies client Edward Dreyfus is spending his retirement years on writing. He is currently working on his seventh novel, a story of twins who couldn’t be more different.
