Fire Equipment Manufacturers’ Assoc. Releases White Paper: “ADA and NFPA 101 Wall Projection Rules for Mounting Extinguishers”
CLEVELAND (PRWEB) May 09, 2018 -- The Fire Equipment Manufacturers’ Association has released a white paper clarifying Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and NFPA 101 requirements for installing portable fire extinguishers.
“Some sales and marketing information relating to the installation of portable fire extinguishers may be misleading or not complete,” said Chuck Kimball, Chair of the Portables/Systems Division of the Fire Equipment Manufacturers’ Association. “By providing this information and explaining the actual requirements, the Fire Equipment Manufacturers’ Association aims to support code compliant installations and enable potential savings for the end users.”
