GREENSBORO, N.C. (PRWEB) May 10, 2018
APEX Analytix, the industry leader in software and services solutions to audit, recover and optimize global procure to pay processes for the world’s largest companies, hosted 65 kids, ages 17 months to 17 years, at the Greensboro headquarters on National Take Your Daughter and Son to Work Day. This year’s theme was Service Force: Agents of Positive Change. Activities included a treasure hunt to find gold coins that the kids could then put into buckets representing multiple charitable organizations that APEX Analytix supports throughout the year.
Work groups provided educational stations related to the work they do in a way our kids could understand and relate to. Saurabh Bansal, APEX Analytix VP, Infrastructure, provided “build a robot” station. “It was amazing and enriching to see the kids get so excited when the bot said ’Hi! I am TJBot,’” said Saurabh. “Working with kids is a such a great learning experience.”
Other activities included mock job interviews, a live quantitative analytics exercise, and be an “auditor for a day.”
“Our associates had fun finding ways to explain what we do as well as what we value to our children,” said Bria Porter, APEX Analytix Human Resource Generalist II and organizer of the event, “and we all benefited from taking a day to be with our associates’ children and see our company and our work through their eyes.”
