Startups From Six Continents Gather in San Francisco May 11 to Meet Tech Leaders and Vie for Startup World Cup $1,000,000 Prize
SAN JOSE, Calif. (PRWEB) May 09, 2018 -- Startup World Cup today announced the names of the finalists selected from tech competitions around the world who will contend for a $1,000,000 investment prize and title of ‘Global Champion’ at the Startup World Cup 2018 Grand Finale in San Francisco, to be held at San Francisco’s Marriott Marquis on May 11, 2018, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. This year’s Startup World Cup began with dozens of regional competitions, starting in Brazil last August, circling the globe, and ending in China in late April.
Startup World Cup is organized by Fenox Venture Capital, a Silicon Valley-based global venture capital firm. The Grand Finale event will bring together the startups plus well-known speakers and judges from the tech community for a full day of insight, networking and competition, with an audience expected to exceed 2,500. The startups are from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia, and represent technologies ranging from AI and IoT to life science and medtech.
The event will kick off with stories and advice from some of Silicon Valley’s most successful tech leaders, and then end with a competition judged by investors from some of the world’s most successful firms.
